Clos de La Commaraine

This "Climat"

This Climat's name reminds us of when it was owned by the lords of Commarain. It's one of the most prestigious Pommard "premiers crus".

Appearance : A beautiful vivid ruby colour with light garnet tints. Bouquet : The nose is remarkable, very fine with some depth showing complexity and sweetness. In the mouth : The mouth is supple silky and harmonious with a high level of precision. There is a framework with soft tannins. The finish is very fresh with considerable persistence.
Clos de la Commaraine

Clos de la Commaraine is planted on clay and limestone soils coloured red by iron oxides. Situated on the north slope of the appellation, on the Beaune side, it produces elegant and silky wines that show great refinement and superb balance.
